Flat Steel Profile

Flat steel bar is one of the firmest and most durable irons produced in the recent times. Generally, it is the main carrier and the foundation stone in the parts it is used, especially in steel constructions.

The flat steel bar, spread in many areas, is thicker in comparison with the other irons. This increases its cost and labor. It is less preferred than the other iron types. This is because its areas of usage are more limited.

One of the main purposes of this product, used in steel constructions and automotive constructions, is to strengthen the supports of the structures and to strengthen the connection between the two profiles or between the floor and the ceiling.

In the production of flat steel bars, some standards are followed. These standards are applied worldwide and they are informant about the quality of the iron.

Flat Steel Bars are produced in accordance with the certificates of DIN 17000 ST 37.2/ASTM A36 ASTM A529-GR 50 FE 3608/S235 JR (EN 10025) S275 JR R (EN 10025).

Square Profile

The steel industry is a sector that has constantly renewed and developed itself until it has gained its current volume. The developing technology has rapidly increased the needs and has pushed the companies to produce a new generation of steel.

There is always an area of usage for every kind manufactured. Years ago, the constructors were working to provide a different functionality for a profile that was produced; now, with the current technology readymade irons, fitting all point with their functionality are produced.

Square Steel is one of the products produced in this way. These types of steel, ready for use as molded in constructions and other areas of application, are less labored and less expensive in terms of production. Square steel can be produced in different sizes and thicknesses according to the needs.

Reinforcing Deformed Profile

Reinforcing Deformed Profile is a kind of steel that increases resistance. It has dents on it, so that it better bonds with the concrete. It is manufactured in different countries in different standards. It has renewed itself as the expectations became higher by the day.

Carbon and Manganese are present in Reinforcing Deformed Profile. With the controlled cooling using water, the quality of Reinforcing Deformed Profile is increased. The carbon ratio should not be higher than 25%. If the carbon ratio is higher than this, the probability of breaks increases in Reinforcing Deformed Profile. Reinforcing Deformed Profile is used in the construction of prefabricated buildings, automotive industry, ship hull building and a structural component of the buildings.

What are the differences between Reinforcing Deformed Profile and Round Profile?

While Round Profile is good to keep the building erect, Reinforcing Deformed Profile enforces it. Thanks to its stripes and dents, it absorbs the concrete and prevents it from slipping. It is more durable compared with Round Profile. The only disadvantage it has is that because it does not let the lumping of the concrete, it can disintegrate the concrete. Saving time and having more elasticity is among the advantages of Round Profile. Today, Reinforcing Deformed Profile is preferred in constructions. The reason for this is that it makes the columns and beams more durable against earthquakes.

Ribbed Flat Steel Profile

Ribbed Flat Steel Profile is a specially manufactured Flat Steel Profile. It is used in buildings that Flat Steel Profile cannot be used due to the shape of its surface (e.g. bridge and viaduct abutments).

Thanks to the dents on it, it increases the resistance in constructions and makes the buildings more durable.

The dents on it offer functionality in the similar principle as Reinforcing Deformed Profile.
